Jacob Draper

I co-lead the Lower Salt River Restoration Project and Green Drone AZ. For the Salt River, I manage large-scale exotic species removal and native tree planting – over 200,000 trees have been planted in the Salt River project. I am a UAS pilot and am excited to explore remote sensing possibilities that inform conservation planning and monitoring.

I received a B.S. in Natural Resource Ecology from ASU in 2016. Prior to joining Ecoculture in November 2019, I worked for Tonto National Forest as a Rangeland Technician and for a consulting firm focusing on site investigation and remediation.

I spend my free time hunting, fishing, kayaking, or anything that will get me outdoors.
